6 Genius Gifts for Chattanooga Photographers

With hundreds of photographers in one of the country’s most beautiful cities, there are surely a ton of family and friends out there trying to find the best gift for the photographer in their life. And while, yes, the cliche is almost always true, you can buy a felt hat for just about any of us (except for me) there are a ton of other things we have our eyes on, and many of them are local. So I thought I would throw together my list of 6 Genius Gifts for Chattanooga Photographers.

  1. Rock City Pass! I’ve photographed here with my daughter before and there are definitely some amazing shots to be had. Grab a season pass for your photographer friend.

  2. Family Photos from another local photographer. You know, we’re like the car mechanic with a broken car, it is near impossible for us to get our own family photos done. And this one supports another photog in the industry.

  3. Premium membership to Chattanooga based editing service, Photographer’s Edit. We all get a little backed up with editing and it’s nice to have options to pull us out of the hole.

  4. Day trip just outside Atlanta in Smyna, Georgia to hit up the KEH Camera store. We all love a good road trip buddy.

  5. A scouting basket. We are lightchasers by trade and that sometimes requires roaming around in the car to find just the right pocket of light. Any basket that includes snacks, a notepad, and a cute coffee mug would be a Godsend.

  6. Flower subscription from Joli Jardin. We can do so much with an artsy bouquet of flowers.

Obviously we all love a good sweatshirt, desk gadgets for long editing days and anything that we can drink coffee out of. But I wanted to give you a few creative ideas to really make the photog in your life feel special.

What are you getting the lightchasers this year?
