5 Things I Need for Headshot Sessions
Yep, I specialize in headshots. And not the kind your mom has. But the kind that lets the modern glamour of today through. You can be feminine, beautiful and powerful and professional. So here are the 5 things I need for our Chattanooga Headshots.
A hair and makeup team. I can literally show you the difference between a client that did their own and a client that let our team set them up. It also saves time on editing, so for a quick turnaround of the best photos you’ve ever seen, you should book a photographer (like me) that has a team.
The glam fan. Take a second and check out the portfolio. Those powerhouse whispies didn’t happen on their own. We used a little fan to get that movement. It is also a huge confidence booster for clients. I’ve seen a real-life transformation happen right in front of me.
Our stylist. Technically part of our team, but a little more than some similar studios. Our clients meet with a stylist to help make their brand and style dreams come true. Picking fits that flatter and colors that reflect the branding you need are key, and our stylist is a huge relief to clients who don’t normally work or play in fashion.
Time with you. So the first few minutes I will try to make you laugh. This lets me know how difficult it may be to loosen you up during our session. it also gives me a key into the company culture, especially if you are someone in the upper management of the company. We want to keep with the professionalism of the company but also make you look friendly and approachable.
Experience. Ok, this probably isn’t a thing.. but the experience of posing and flattering angles is a lifesaver. I get a lot of clients because they are not comfortable posing in front of the camera. Our studio is a full service studio and that includes a session where we give as much or as little direction as possible. Our experience with different body types, skin colors and businesses, allows us to pose administration and employees appropriately.
