Studio Fashion Session
I was super excited to be apart of the Edwina LaShan Fashion fashion show in Chattanooga, but fell ill right before leaving. Actually I was trying to wrestle into my jumpsuit and felt a little faint. I was super bummed to miss out on all the amazing models and vendors that were putting it together. But that all faded away with Marquita reached out about photographing some outfits she missed during all the commotion. Wooohoo! I invited her to the studio where we got a few candid shots, but you know I love me some studio portraiture so I popped her in front of the yellow seamless background that was still up from the back to school sessions we just had (see that session in an upcoming blog post).
Honestly, simple backgrounds make my client’s shine and I’m an all black girl. But this pop of color was good for the soul. As was the film like color toning I went with. It’s a little outside my normal edits but that’s what these sessions are for, playing around.
Also, I don’t think anything could be more fun than that bubble dress and earring!
